Ashley &
Amanda Loban
Scholarship Fund
Two scholarships will be awarded in remembrance of Ashley
and Amanda Loban, whose young lives were cut short by a fatal automobile
accident on May 22, 2006 in Brookings County. Scholarships will be awarded to
one Brookings High School student and another South Dakota High School student
who will be full time first year students at a post secondary school.

Applicants MUST have a high school diploma, or equivalent,
from a South Dakota school.

Applicants MUST be nominated by an adult in a supervisory
position at school, work, church or extracurricular activity. Letters of
nomination are to be no more than 500 words and describe the applicants' act of
kindness, good citizenship and humanitarianism and the impact of these acts on
the applicant's school and/or community.

Each of the two (2) $1,500.00 scholarships will be awarded
for one (1) year and dispersed $750.00 per semester to the post secondary
school.

Scholarships are to be used ONLY for the first year of post
secondary schooling.

The Loban Scholarship Information Form and Letter of Nomination MUST be
postmarked on or before April 1, 2010. This should be sent to Loban
Memorial Inc, PO Box 8091, Brookings SD 57006.

All eligibility requirements must be met for the nomination
to be considered.
The Loban Memorial Inc Board of Directors and selected
advisors will review all nominations and select winners. Recipients of
scholarships will be announced May 1, 2010. Questions may be emailed to
